Hola a todos, quiero compartir con vosotros el proceso creativo digital que hubo tras la última ilustración que hice. Lleva 5 horas de trabajo encima, está trabajada en A3 con Photoshop.

Hi all, I want to share with you the digital painting procces of my last illustration about Sherlock Holmes. I did it in 5 hours in a 420×297 mm weidth of digital canvas in Photoshop. (Click in the picture to see it larger)

First of all I sketched the principal figure lines and then I decided the colour shading structure. (Some Illustrators work the lights before giving the colour in black and white, but, in my case, I love colour and it’s easier and faster for me do it directly in colour) then, when I had all the structure decided and I knew how to abord the painting with a colour base, I finished giving the entire details and the wrap texture. I recommend you work the illustrations homogeneously, as one unique thing the figure and the background before adding any detail.
